Fun Activities

Palm Springs is a terrific destination with so many fun activities — here are some highlights that we strongly recommend:

  • Chill / relax — enjoy lounging by the pool, soaking up the sun and positive energy

  • Cocktail vibe - have a smart drink to start or end your evening at Seymour’s or Paul’s Bar

  • Dine out - great restaurants abound - we recommend eating outdoors in the back area at Eight4Nine.

  • Enjoy a delicious brunch with a view - Escena and Farm are favorites

  • Entertainment - fun gay clubs on Arenas + some wonderful dinner theaters (we love the Purple Room)

  • Gamble - check out Aqua Caliente in Rancho Mirage (they have a wonderful concert venue there too)

  • Golf - Palm Springs is a golfer’s paradise

  • Hike - so many great hiking trails, check out Indian Canyons

  • Joshua Tree National Park - the most popular national park in the U.S.

  • Living Desert Zoo & Gardens - in Palm Desert but worth the drive for a spectacular experience; make sure you see the Giraffe and Wallaby habitats

  • McCallum Theater - catch a show, with major national acts

  • Neighborhood walks - so many wonderful neighborhoods with beautiful mid-century architecture, don’t miss Indian Canyons, Las Palmas/Vista Las Palmas, and of course the Racquet Club Estates.

  • Palm Springs Art Museum - terrific collection, free entrance on Thursdays 5pm-7pm

  • Pioneer Town - go back to the Old West + check our Pappi & Harriet’s for live music
